PHILADELPHIA -- Yorvit Torrealba didn't want to make eye contact with his former teammate until he circled the bases.
Torrealba hit a tiebreaking homer in the eighth inning off former Giants reliever Felix Rodriguez, leading San Francisco over the fading Philadelphia Phillies 7-6 Saturday.
"I didn't want to look at his face. I'd probably laugh," Torrealba said of Rodriguez, traded to the Phillies for outfielder Ricky Ledee last month. "It was weird. You play with a guy for so long. I'd like to see him do good, just not against us."
Cody Ransom, Dustan Mohr and Marquis Grissom also homered for San Francisco, which has won three in a row for the first time in a month. The Giants moved within 61/2 games of NL West-leading Los Angeles. They remained one game behind the Chicago Cubs in the wild-card race.
Placido Polanco hit a two-run homer for the Phillies, who lost for the fifth time in six home games despite overcoming a 5-0 deficit. Philadelphia fell eight games behind NL East-leading Atlanta.
