Cedars gives poetsoutlet for their creations
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Pig Iron Press will hold its sixth annual poetry slam on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. at Cedars Caf & eacute; on West Commerce Street downtown.
Participants should bring an original poem to perform.
Presentation is limited to one poem not exceeding four minutes in length.
No costumes or props are allowed.
Poems will be scored by a panel of randomly selected judges.
Anyone is eligible to participate in the contest. Sign-up is at the door from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Pig Iron Literary & amp; Art works.
