XCAMPBELL -- Wedding vows were exchanged during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 10 at St. Lucy Church by Gina Barone, daughter of Dave and Marlene Barone of Struthers, and David Vecchione, son of Sal and Dorothy Vecchione of Youngstown.
The Rev. John Jerek officiated, and a reception was held at the parish center. After a honeymoon trip to Grand Cayman Island, the couple live in Cuyahoga Falls.
Fashioned of off-white satin, the bride's A-line gown was embellished with crystals and beading around the dropped waistline.
Kimmy Yurko was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Mandy Barone, the bride's sister-in-law; Nicole Dlwgosh, Tara Gentile, Sherry Marconi and Jessica Polis, her cousins; Stacey DeMain; Marie Mozzy; Annie Scavnicky; and Jackie Soles, the groom's cousin. They wore black gowns. Junior bridesmaids were Amanda and Alissa Murphy, and flower girl was Tori Barone, her niece.
Best men were Dan and Chris Vecchione, the groom's brothers, and groomsmen were Anthony, Dave and Vince Barone, the bride's brothers; John Demidovich; Mike Hughes; and Aaron Ortenzio. Ring bearer was Jarrod Vecchione, his nephew.
A graduate of Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree in child/family studies, Mrs. Vecchione is employed as an intervention specialist with Revere Public Schools.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in history from Youngstown State University and teaches history at Stow High School, where he also is a football coach.
