SCHOOL BOARD Neshannock field will get new lights and donate old



NESHANNOCK, Pa. -- New lights are being installed at the football field in the Neshannock School District, and the old ones will have a new home.
The board of school directors unanimously agreed Thursday to donate the old light poles and light fixtures to the Neshannock Athletic Association.
Members of the association expressed to Superintendent Dr. Michael Hink that they plan to place the lights at the Walmo or Pearson Park ballfields.
Copier lease
The board also approved a 60-month lease agreement with Tom Grohl & amp; Associates of Youngstown to place new digital copiers in the high school and elementary offices. Board President Frank Rondinelli said this will save the district $319 per month over the current contract with Xerox.
In other business the board:
UApproved a $2,000 donation to help cover expenses to honor the Neshannock Lancers State Championship baseball team.
UIncreased the driver education fee from $27.43 to $28.14 per student.
UAgreed to lend three classrooms to the Intermediate Unit IV for the 2004-2005 school year.
UAccepted the resignation of custodian Jack Cameron after 17 years of service.
U Jenny Marshall as assistant girls volleyball coach at a salary of $1,914.
UHired Nick Mylo as assistant girls basketball coach at a salary of $3,312.
