Rotary installs officers for centennial year

YOUNGSTOWN -- Austintown Rotary Club met July 10 at the Youngstown Club for the installation of officers who will serve during the Rotary's centennial year.
Assuming the duties of their positions were Lisa L. Oles, president; Donna Buzulencia, vice president; Susan Thompson, secretary; Phil Carlon, treasurer; the Rev. Karl Rein, vocational service; Dr. Scott Petrallo, international service; Gary Reel, community service; and David Buttar and Brian Frederick, club service.
Rotary International is dedicated to the eradication of the Polio Virus. Local projects have included the building of a band shell in Austintown Township Park, sponsoring exchange students, providing scholarships, sponsoring speech contests, heading roadside clean up and participation in a variety of community projects.
