Separated from the kids who invented them, imaginary friends can have a tough time. Fortunately, there's a place where they can stay -- and perhaps even find a new kid to live with in "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" (7:30 p.m., Cartoon Network)."Olympics Opening Ceremony" (8 p.m., NBC) offers the usual elaborate pageantry, this time in Athens. Interviews with Debbie Reynolds, Rita Moreno, Barbra Streisand, Marvin Hamlisch and Betty Comden, among others, offer insight into the tunes that enhanced so many films. John Travolta hosts.
