More illegal immigrants
MERCER, Pa. -- State police said they apprehended 15 more illegal immigrants during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.
The latest stop occurred shortly after 1 p.m. Monday in the eastbound lanes at Milepost 24, the same location where police nabbed two groups of illegal immigrants over the weekend.
The latest stop brings to 65 the number of illegal immigrants caught on I-80 in Mercer County since Friday.
Monday's stop was for a traffic violation, and 15 occupants of the vehicle were found to be Mexican citizens who were in this country illegally, police said.
One of the 15 was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and the others were released, police said.
Man charged in burglary
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- A cut suffered during a burglary led police to the suspect. Richard Cotelesse, 22, of East Leasure Avenue was charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said Cotelesse smashed the window at the Marathon service station at 3:41 a.m. Monday, getting cut and leaving blood. The surveillance tape shows that the burglar unsuccessfully tried to open the cash register and then took cigarettes.
Police said that when they arrested Cotelesse this morning on Highland Avenue they were able to match up cuts on his body with what was seen on the videotape. Police said he had prescription drugs that were not his and a glass crack pipe when arrested.

The woman said she went to the house Sunday with a friend she'd met while both were incarcerated at the Trumbull County jail. She told police that the resident of the house made her call her family several times to try to get the $400.
When that failed, he forced her into the attic and threatened her with a metal pipe, saying, "You take care of these guys or I'll beat your a-- with this pipe," reports show. She told police she then had sex with five men.
The woman escaped Monday and ran to a house on West Chalmers Avenue, where the resident let her in to call police.
