UNSIGHTLY TOOTSIES Tips for your toes

High heels (2 inches or more) in general, are out. They can even be bad choices for folks who don't suffer from a foot condition.
Consider a kitten-heeled mule. This style can be especially effective for concealing bunions, hammertoes, and toes bruised and ravaged by running or fungal infections. A nice option is a mule with a decorative cut-out. It hides the toe, but shows a little more foot.
Slap on some toe polish. A good pedicure can make even the worst feet look better.
Even problem feet look better if they are well-maintained with over-the-counter scrubs and foot creams to keep skin moist and exfoliated.
Add a big, floppy flower or some other distracting detail. Flowers are all over shoes this season. The bigger and more colorful.
Go for rounded toe beds and flat slip-ons because they don't put as much pressure on the feet.
Opt for slip-ons with a strap. While mules are cute, women are wearing too many high-heeled shoes with strapless backs, and their toes are paying the price.
Take care with flip-flops. While a good option for some feet because they don't put pressure on bunions and corns, they may be too flimsy and may irritate the space between the toes. If you do wear them, opt for a thicker sole.
