BOARDMAN -- Kathy Miller, a broker for Rightplacerealty.com, has been recognized by the Ohio Association of Realtors as a recipient of the 2003 OAR President's Sales Club -- Award of Achievement for closed sales production. She first qualified for this award in 1974. Miller has served as president of the Youngstown Board of Realtors and chairman of the Multiple Listing Service, as well as taught real estate brokerage at YSU. She lives in Boardman, where she serves as a township trustee.
Mulvey Insurance Agency in Warren and The Insurance Center of Salem have both been awarded the Motorist Insurance Group's 2004-05 Pacesetter designation in recognition of their sales performance and customer service. Tim Mulvey, president of the Warren agency on East Market Street, has been in the insurance business for 17 years. The Insurance Center has been operating on East State Street in Salem for six years.
BOARDMAN -- Petland store operators Jeff Reisman and Gary and Sharon Winslow were recognized by their stores' Chillicothe-based parent company for community service programs at their Akron and Boardman stores. They were awarded Petland's Quest Award for store programs that unite homeless pets with families.
