GARDEN CLUBS

TUESDAY
XMoccasin members will meet at the Baptist Church for a "Tastefully Simple" program. Hostesses will be Leah Maselli and Betty Kalan. Donations to the Emmanuel Center will be paper towels.
XThe annual picnic for New Bedford will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Gert Bretz. Members are to take a covered dish.
UPCOMING
XThe Men's Garden Club of Youngstown will hold a corn roast for members and guests Aug. 18 at the community center in Boardman Township Park. The 6 p.m. social hour will be followed by dinner of hamburgers, corn, rolls, beverage and pie at 6:30. The cost is $3. Those attending are asked to take a table service. Reservations are to be made by Thursday with George Hoover, (330) 757-2221.
XGarden club events are published Sundays. The deadline is noon Thursday.
