50th anniversary gathering held for Augsburgers

XSARASOTA, Fla. -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Augsburger, 975 S. Tuttle Ave., formerly of the Youngstown area, was celebrated June 27 at their home during a gathering with friends and family.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Darlene and John Ramsey of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Wayne and Cindy Augsburger, Keith and Erika Augsburger, and Brad and Colleen Augsburger, all of Sarasota. Completing the family circle are five grandchildren.
The former Garnieta Brenneman and Mr. Augsburger were married June 27, 1954, at Turkey Run Mennonite Church in Logan.
Mr. Augsburger retired in 2000 from his position as vice president of sales with the Empire Plow Co. of Cleveland. He died July 26.
Mrs. Augsburger is a homemaker. She belongs to Bahia Vista Mennonite Church, where her husband also was a member.
