Summary of police activity for Hubbard, Girard and Liberty:
HUBBARD
July 28
Vandalism: Someone used a key to damage a vehicle parked at The Wireless Outlet, 12 N. Main St.
Theft: Some trees were stolen from a landscaper working in the 900 block of West Liberty Street.
Fraud: A man and a woman in the 600 block of East Liberty Street told police someone fraudulently placed some utilities in the man's name without his knowledge, and the man reported that a collection agency had called asking that the bills be paid.
July 29
Theft: A man reported some juveniles removed a bicycle ramp from his property in the 900 block of Woodland Avenue.
July 30
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 6900 block of Thornton Road discovered someone had tossed eggs at her car while it was parked at U.S. Can Co., 644 Myron St.
Criminal damaging: Police noticed someone had spray-painted a side of the ATC Lighting building, 400 Myron St.
Arrests: Police arrested a Hubbard boy, 12, in the 100 block of Moore Street and another Hubbard boy, 13, in the 900 block of East Liberty Street. Each was wanted on warrants charging him with aggravated burglary and robbery.
July 31
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A woman in the 500 block of West Liberty Street alleged her boyfriend took her car without permission.
Possible breaking and entering: A man in the 300 block of Moore Street called police after he heard suspicious noises coming from a neighbor's vehicle.
Criminal damaging: A man discovered his truck's passenger-side tires had been slashed in the 500 block of West Liberty Street.
Theft: A woman in the 600 block of Scott Street reported a car had been broken into and a stereo and some compact discs had been taken.
Theft: A woman in the 20 block of First Street discovered her daughter's pink bicycle had been stolen from their residence.
Theft: Someone left a Shell gas station, 204 W. Liberty St., and failed to pay for $20 worth of gasoline.
Aug. 1
Criminal damaging: Police noticed a vehicle parked in the 500 block of West Liberty Street had some of its tires flattened.
Auto theft: A man reported his 1987 Buick Regal stolen from his driveway in the 300 block of Jacobs Road.
Assaults: Two men, 21 and 23, reported several people assaulted them at the victims' residence in the 200 block of East Liberty Street.
Assault: A woman in the 6400 block of Ashlar Avenue told police she had been assaulted while she was at Jones Field in Hubbard.
Aug. 2
Assault: A man in the 10 block of First Street alleged a neighbor in the 20 block assaulted the man's stepson.
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 7100 block of Chestnut Ridge Road reported someone threw eggs at her vehicle parked in the 600 block of Jerry Drive.
Criminal damaging: A woman came home to her residence in the 900 block of Dogwood Drive and noticed a bullet hole in a window, likely caused by a pellet gun.
GIRARD
Aug. 1
Vandalism: A man in the 30 block of Second Street found all four of his vehicle's tires had been slashed while he was at the Royal Gardens, 105 W. Liberty St.
Domestic violence: Police charged a Youngstown man, 20, with domestic violence after a woman alleged he came to her home in the 400 block of Elruth Avenue intoxicated, struck her in the chest and forehead with a gun and threatened to kill her.
Possible criminal damaging: A man in the 400 block of East Kline Street reported his vehicle had been struck by a rock as he drove on Church Hill Road.
Aug. 2
Theft: Someone drove away from a Shell True North gas station, 307 S. State St., without paying for $30.12 worth of gasoline.
Aug. 3
Arrest: Police arrested a Warren man on Crumlin Avenue on charges of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and driving under suspension.
LIBERTY
July 28
Theft: A man noticed $63 missing from his room at the Tallyho-tel, 4249 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A man reported a $1,000 riding lawnmower had been taken from his driveway in the 1300 block of West Montrose Street.
Burglary: A woman reported someone pushed in a window to her apartment in the 3100 block of Hadley Avenue before breaking in and stealing a $150 Xbox game system, two Xbox games and a CD. Her loss was about $270.
July 29
Theft: A man in the 4500 block of Park Street reported a $2,400 trailer missing from his driveway.
Theft: A Youngstown man staying at the Tallyho-tel reported $58 had been taken from a table in his room.
Theft: An employee at the Tallyho-tel discovered a $300 TV and a $200 TV hutch missing from a room.
July 30
Theft: A man in his mid- to late-30s reportedly grabbed a 24-pack of beer and fled a Shell True North gas station, 3990 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A man in the 1600 block of Shannon Road reported a $500 chainsaw and its case stolen from his garage.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 13-year-old Girard boy at his home on Scott Lane on charges of domestic violence and being an unruly juvenile. The boy's step-mother alleged he punched her in the chest, and his father reported being kicked. The woman complained of chest pain.
July 31
Theft: An employee at Long John Silver's, 3560 Belmont Ave., discovered $100 had been stolen from her purse.
Theft: A woman in the 2000 block of Burning Tree Drive discovered her 1997 Pontiac Transport stolen from her driveway.
Arrest: Police arrested a 35-year-old Youngstown woman at a Speedway gas station, 4210 Belmont Ave. She was cited on charges of driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers say they found two suspected crack pipes on the car's driver's side.
Assault: A 55-year-old Youngstown man was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after an employee at Movie Exchange, 2710 Belmont Ave., alleged he became angry when she explained the return policy and that the suspect tossed a DVD at her, striking her.
