Jennifer Falzetta, Mr. Smith to wed in early October

XCOLUMBIANA -- John and Karen Falzetta, 251 E. Duquesne St., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Josephine Falzetta, 30012 Dorothy Drive, Wickliffe, to William Charles Smith Jr., 30432 Fairway Blvd., Willowick.
Mr. Smith is a son of Margaret A. Smith, 7690 Sharon Drive, Mentor-on-the-Lake, and the late William C. Smith.
An open ceremony is planned for 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at St. Patrick Church in Leetonia, and invitations will be issued for a reception that evening at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
Miss Falzetta holds a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising from Kent State University and is a store manager at Things Remembered in Beachwood.
Her fiance received certification from the law enforcement program at Lakeland Community College in Mentor and is a police officer for the city of Painesville.
