Sentence court
Judge Francis Fornelli of Mercer County Common Pleas Court sentenced these people Thursday:
Cortney King, 19, no address available, sentenced to one to two years in prison followed by four years' probation for felony burglary. Last Sept. 9, he broke into a residence on East State Street, Hermitage, doing $100 damage to a door frame and lock.
Paul Knappenberger, 22, of Lafayette Avenue, Sharon, sentenced to one month to two years in prison for corruption of minors, a misdemeanor. Last August, he had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl at his home, court documents say.
Tom Kamende, 28, of California, sentenced to three months to two years in prison and ordered to make restitution for access device fraud, a felony. On five occasions last October, he used another person's credit card without permission to charge merchandise totaling $2,457.
John Bolino, 23, of Greenville, one year's probation for theft of services, a misdemeanor. He entered a residence on Perry Highway, Sheakleyville, through an unlocked door in July 2001, and placed five calls to a 900 number from the phone there. He was ordered to pay $180 for the phone charges.
Alan Guthrie, 40, of Cherry Hill Road, Greenville, one year's probation and fined $1,500 for failure to pay workers' compensation insurance. Court documents state that from December 1999 to April 2000, Guthrie, who ran a business, intentionally failed to maintain the insurance coverage though he was not exempted.
Leon Levis, 51, of Selina Boulevard, Hermitage, two years' probation for simple assault and making terroristic threats. In October, he placed a loaded handgun in a woman's mouth and threatened to kill her at a Selina Boulevard home in Hermitage.
