Western Reserve's Harmon pitches two-hit, 4-0 win



The Blue Devils beat South Range for their 10th triumph.
NORTH LIMA -- Katie Harmon pitched a complete game two-hitter, striking out six and walking four to lead Western Reserve past South Range 4-0 in an Inter-County League softball game on Tuesday.
Leslie Razo had two hits, and Macy Marra added two RBIs for the Blue Devils (10-5, 5-2).
South Range fell to 4-5, 2-3.
Springfield 4, Jackson-Milton 1
NORTH JACKSON -- Ashley Fagnano singled three times and Christy Warren doubled for the Tigers (7-4, 4-3 ICL).
Jackson-Milton is 9-8, 4-3.
Boardman 6, Austintown Fitch 0
AUSTINTOWN -- Ashley DiDomenico (10-1) tossed a two-hitter, striking out eight batters and walking none for the Spartans (13-1, 6-0 Federal League).
DiDomenico also hit a two-run double. Melanie Lodyn hit an RBI triple, while Krysta Sylvester and Danielle Burin each had two hits, with a run scored.
For the Falcons (1-11), losing pitcher Julie Reigrut (1-6) and Breanna Alleman had hits.
Mooney 11, Campbell 0
CAMPBELL -- Freshman Colleen Courtney (5-2) threw a two-hitter with six strikeouts and no walks in the five-inning game.
Pam Walko went 2-for-2 with two RBIs for the Cardinals (14-5).
Campbell is 0-8.
Ursuline 13, Canton Central Catholic 3
YOUNGSTOWN -- Freshman Natalie Palermo had three hits, including a double, a triple and two RBIs, to lead Ursuline.
Vannessa Dickson added a triple for the Irish (13-3), while Jenna Vrabel had three hits, including a double, and two RBIs. Courtney Davidson and Sarah Stroney each added two hits.
Central is 5-8.
Canfield 9, Alliance 3
ALLIANCE -- Stephanie Zunic had four doubles to lead Canfield in a Metro Athletic Conference game.
Whitney Zunic, who earned the victory, added three singles for Canfield (10-5, 4-2), and Kerrie Haurin also had three hits. Danielle Spencer and Ashley Yager each added two hits.
Alliance is 6-9.
Liberty 3, Brookfield 2
LIBERTY -- Ryan Williams and Sunny Smallwood doubled for the Leopards (3-8, 2-5 Trumbull Athletic Conference).
Liberty pushed across the winning run with none out in the last of the seventh inning.
