YOUNGSTOWN -- Humility of Mary Health Partners has appointed R. Andrew Brothers to the position of senior vice president of finance/chief financial officer. Brothers had been serving as interim chief financial officer for HMHP since November.
Brothers came to the company from Catholic Healthcare Partners, where he was vice president of operations/consulting. He also served as senior vice president of operations, president and chief executive of the tri-state region for the Franciscan Health System from 1993 to 2000.
Brothers is a certified public accountant and earned his bachelor's degree at Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. He had been an adjunct professor of accounting at Middlesex College in Edison, N.J., and at one time was chairman of the accounting department and associate professor at Albany Business College in Albany, N.Y.
REAL ESTATE
BOARDMAN -- Ron Albright has joined Coldwell Banker First Place Real Estate as a sales associate working in the Boardman office. Albright received his real estate training from Youngstown State University and had been in retail sales for more than 14 years, most recently as vice president of a local cellular phone company. He lives in Canfield.
BANKING
WARREN -- Rosetta Carter has joined First Place Bank and will be responsible for Community Reinvestment Loan origination for Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Carter came to the company from Second National Bank and has 25 years of banking experience. She attended Youngstown State University.
ACCOUNTING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Cohen & amp; Company has promoted Marla Meyers to recruiting manager. Meyers has been with the company since 1999 and is the accounting and consulting firm's first full-time recruiter. She has a bachelor's degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Cleveland State University and lives in Strongsville.
FINANCIAL PLANNING
SALEM -- Morris Financial Group Inc., an employee benefit and financial planning company, has hired Gary LaSavage as an insurance advocate. A Steubenville resident, LaSavage has been in the health insurance field for 25 years.
