Partners to opena Curves franchise
LORDSTOWN -- Carrie Kozusko of Austintown and Kathy Rosenberger of Niles are partners in a new Curves fitness center for women, set to open May 3 in the Village Plaza, 6100 Tod Ave. in Lordstown. Stoneridge reportsincrease in earnings
HOWLAND -- Stoneridge earned $9.2 million, or 40 cents a share, in the first quarter, compared with $7 million, or 31 cents a share, in the same quarter last year. First quarter net sales were $176 million, compared with $159.6 million in the same quarter last year.
Stoneridge said it expects its second-quarter earnings to be between 35 cents and 40 cents a share, compared with 28 cents in last year's second quarter. For the full year 2004, the company expects earnings to be between $1.10 and $1.20 a share, compared with 94 cents a share for last year.
The Howland-based company makes wiring harnesses and other parts for vehicles but nearly all of its 5,000 employees are outside the Mahoning Valley.
