Television: USA (Thursday-Friday, 4-6 p.m.) and CBS (Saturday-Sunday, 3-6 p.m.).
Last year: Fred Couples won for the first time in five years, closing with a 67 for a four-stroke victory. He is the first former University of Houston player to win the event.
Last week: Stewart Cink won the MCI Heritage, beating Ted Purdy on the fifth hole of a playoff after overcoming a nine-stroke deficit with a closing 64. Cink also won the 2000 tournament at Harbour Town.
Notes: The Shell-sponsored tournament moved to Redstone last year after 27 years at The Woodlands complex. The course, designed by player Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, will be replaced in 2006 by an adjacent layout designed by Rees Jones. ... Jacobsen, splitting time between the PGA Tour and Champions Tour, is expected to be sidelined at least six weeks following hip surgery.

Purse: $2.3 million. Winner's share: $345,000.
Television: ESPN (Friday, 1-3 p.m.) and ABC (Saturday-Sunday, 1-3 p.m.).
Last year: Bruce Lietzke won the first of two 2003 titles, beating Dana Quigley and David Eger by a stroke.
Last week: Tom Jenkins won the Blue Angels Classic for his fifth Champions Tour title, closing with a 63 for a five-stroke victory over Rodger Davis.
Notes: The tournament became an official tour event in 2002, switching from a team format to stroke play. The competition also includes two-man team play in the Raphael (age 50-69) and Demaret (70 and over) divisions.

Course: Fuerteventura Golf Club (6,638 yards, par 70).

Television: The Golf Channel (Thursday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; Friday, 3-4:30 a.m., 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 3-4:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Monday, 2:30-4 a.m.).
Last year: England's Kenneth Ferrie won his first tour title, edging Ireland's Peter Lawrie and Sweden's Peter Hedblom on the second hole of a playoff at Costa Adeje.
Last week: Argentina's Ricardo Gonzalez won the Seville Open, beating Scotland's Stephen Gallacher and England's Jonathan Lomas by two strokes.
Notes: Jose Maria Olazabal is seeking his first victory in the event. He has won three other European tour events in the Canary Islands. ... Sergio Garcia won in 2002 at El Cortijo for his first pro title in Spain. ... Seve Ballesteros won the 1995 tournament for the last of his 48 European tour victories. He also won in 1981 and 1985.

Course: Hardscrabble Country Club (6,619 yards, par 70).
Purse: $475,000. Winner's share: $85,500.
Television: None.
Last year: Zach Johnson won the first of two 2003 titles, edging Steve Haskins with a par on the first playoff hole. Johnson won the PGA Tour's BellSouth Classic three weeks ago.
Last week: Daniel Chopra won the Arkansas Classic for his first tour title, beating John Elliott by a stroke.
Notes: Jimmy Walker is within a victory of an in-season promotion to the PGA Tour as a three-time winner. The former Baylor player opened the season with a victory in the Panama Championship and added the Louisiana Open title late last month. ... The BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs is next week in Greenville, S.C.
