Three found shot to death



TRIADELPHIA, W.Va. (AP) -- The bodies of a couple and the woman's son were found inside the family's home in this town near Wheeling, authorities said.
The victims had been shot in the back of the head. They were found face down in the basement by relatives about 2:30 p.m. Monday, Ohio County Prosecutor Scott Smith said.
Deputy Sheriff Pat Butler identified the victims as Bernie "Buzz" Coniff Jr., 54; his wife, Deborah Coniff, 50; and her son, Jonathan Michael Noon, 22.
Butler said Noon lived part-time with the couple. His pickup truck, which had an Ohio license plate, was missing.
The bodies will be sent to the state medical examiner for autopsies.
