SIGN OF THE THYME: Herbs, shrubs, perennials, bulbs and a selection of small fruit plants such as raspberries, blueberries and currants will be among the items featured at the Spring Plant Sale to be held by Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens. Sale hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 30 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 1 at the gardens in Mill Creek Park, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown, where a welcoming sign is displayed by, from left, Sara Scudier, Liz Blazer, Barb Delisio and Nancy Motsko. A member's preview will be from 4 to 7 p.m. April 29. Garden enthusiasts who join the organization at the sale will receive a member discount.
