Area businessman honored by ABWA Charter Chapter

XWARREN -- The 47th anniversary of its founding was marked by the Warren Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association during the April 6 meeting held at G's Golden Gate Restaurant.
A highlight of the event was the honoring of Mike Gianoutsos as the chapter's Business Associate of 2004. The presentation was made by Wanda Hughes.
Gianoutsos, the owner of the restaurant and of Baconsburg Family Restaurant in Cortland, came from Greece at the age of 16. He began working as a dishwasher at Trumbull Country Club where he eventually became the manager with 25 years of service. He also became manager at the Waldon Golf and Tennis Club and Beechmont Country Club.
