YOUNGSTOWN -- Five juvenules were arrested on charges of breaking and entering, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of cocaine, but the charges were not filed against them after they were found inside a vacant house Tuesday night on Hilton Avenue, said Lt. He said that the boys were instead charged with criminal trespass. Three adults arrested with the boys that night on the same charges were also charged only with criminal trespass, records show. The eight are:

Police had responded to 241 Hilton after a report that juveniles were kicking in a side door. Nine syringes with suspected cocaine, a bag of the suspected drug and metal scale were confiscated.
Rafferty said the drugs were not found on the boys or adults and the drug instruments could have been in the house before the boys went in. One boy's father said the kids were just playing in a vacant house.
