BOARDMAN
April 5
Criminal damage: A man in the 30 block of Beechwood Drive reported his vehicle's rear window broken and a dent in its driver's-side quarter panel. Damage was estimated at $700.
Truck theft: A Poland man discovered his 1998 GMC pickup truck stolen from The Carwash Inc., 8525 South Ave.
Auto theft: A Boardman woman reported her 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier missing from the 600 block of Moyer Avenue.
Theft, criminal damage: An employee at Jim Mack Auto Sales, 438 E. Western Reserve Road, discovered damage to a vehicle's rear trunk lid, as well as a $200 car stereo stolen.
Identity fraud: A man in the 4300 block of South Avenue reported that someone fraudulently used his personal information and that an online casino billed him for $100.
Assault: A man in the 1800 block of Basil Avenue reported being shoved while at a home there.
Theft: An employee at Hallmark Showcase, 377 Boardman-Poland Road, reported two pictures, each in a 32-inch-by-24-inch frame, were stolen. The merchandise was valued at $200.
Theft: Someone removed a $60 pair of shorts and a $150 jersey from Sportstown in the Southern Park Mall.
Assault: A man in the 70 block of Carter Circle reported being assaulted at Northeast Autosport, 112 Boardman-Poland Road. The man had a scrape and cut on his forehead, right wrist and lower back.
Assault: Police arrested a 12-year-old Campbell boy at Forum Health Beeghly Medical Center, 6505 Market St., on an assault charge. A woman in the 30 block of Woodview Avenue reported that her two sons were assaulted while they were on Sheldon Avenue.
Arrest: A Canfield girl, 15, was arrested at the Southern Park Mall and charged with being an unruly juvenile.
Arrest: A 15-year-old Youngstown girl was charged with being an unruly juvenile after a situation at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St.
April 6
Arrest: Police arrested a 48-year-old Youngstown man at Family Video, 5205 Market St., on a warrant charging him with theft. He also was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of criminal tools. The suspect is accused of stealing two videos.
Domestic violence: A 36-year-old Boardman man was arrested at the Mahoning County jail on a domestic-violence charge. A woman in the 400 block of Rockdale Avenue had a cut on her lip and a swollen left cheek.
Stolen property: Police arrested a 35-year-old Youngstown man near Judson and Erie streets on a felony charge of receiving stolen property. Officers allege the man possessed a set of stolen Ohio license plates.
Theft: A Gates Mills, Ohio, man reported his son's wallet stolen from the victim's rental car in the 7800 block of Market Street. A $150 cellular phone also was missing.
Theft, vandalism: An Austintown man reported that another man was the victim of theft and vandalism when a washing machine and dryer each worth $300 were stolen from a residence the victim owns in the 5100 block of Allan Drive. Also, the apartment had about $2,000 worth of carpet damage and $300 in damage to its kitchen tile.
Assault: A woman in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court called police after her eighth-grade daughter was in a fight on a school bus.
Domestic violence: A boy, 15, was arrested at his home in the 6000 block of Sheridan Road and charged with domestic violence after a woman reported her son was a victim.
Aggravated menacing: A man reported that his life was threatened while he was in his front yard in the 3900 block of South Schenley Avenue.
Criminal damage: A man found his truck's driver's-side window broken, resulting in $200 in damage, at his home in the 1300 block of Red Tail Hawk Drive.
April 7
Arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old Struthers man on two felony charges -- one each of forgery and receiving stolen property -- after an employee at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 7371 California Ave., alleged the suspect deposited a $1,980 check into a savings account, and that the check was drawn on a closed account.
Criminal damage: Someone drove a vehicle through a lawn, causing $500 in damage, in the 4500 block of Grover Drive.
Theft: Someone left a Shell TrueNorth gas station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying for $17.61 worth of gasoline.
Identity theft: A woman in the 700 block of Edenridge Drive reported receiving a $357.35 phone bill balance originating from a residence in Landover, Md.
Vehicle theft: A Warren woman reported her 1988 Chevrolet Astro van stolen from Ruozzo Brothers Transmissions, 4106 Simon Road, when it was there to be repaired.
Arrest: An 11-year-old Boardman boy was arrested in the 700 block of Truesdale Avenue on a charge of being an unruly juvenile.
Theft: Police arrested a 16-year-old Boardman boy on a theft charge after a pack of cigarettes was stolen from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft, criminal damage: A Struthers man reported that his car's driver's-side door was damaged and its frame bent while the vehicle was at Cinemark Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road. Two in-dash AM/FM compact-disc players and 10 CDs were stolen.
April 8
Bad check: Police arrested a 35-year-old Youngstown man at Cochran's Sparkle Market, 4121 South Ave., on a charge of passing bad checks. An employee at Cyber Express, 7684 Market St., reported a $101.65 check was returned after being drawn on a closed account.
Arrest: A Youngstown man, 47, was arrested at Barnes & amp; Noble Booksellers, 381 Boardman-Poland Road, on charges of public indecency, criminal trespass and aggravated menacing. An employee at Bob Evans Restaurant, 7347 California Ave., reported seeing someone urinating outside the business.
Auto theft: A 1988 Buick LeSabre was stolen from the Jillian's Entertainment parking lot at the Southern Park Mall.
Auto theft: A woman reported her 1990 Buick LeSabre stolen from a parking lot in the 5700 block of Sheridan Road.
Aggravated menacing: A Midlothian Boulevard woman reported that her son, 12, was threatened by someone thought to have had a gun while the boy was near Alburn and Oak Knoll drives.
Theft: A Boardman man discovered three medications and a $60 CD player stolen from his car parked at Cochran's Sparkle Market.
Theft: A McDonald man reported four VHS tapes stolen while he was at Family Video. The items were valued at about $340.
Auto theft: A 1986 Chevrolet Caprice was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Hillman Way.
April 9
Auto theft: A 1994 Buick Century was stolen from a carport in the 30 block of Shields Road.
Criminal damage: A Columbiana boy, 17, was charged with criminal damaging after a North Benton man discovered multiple scratches and dents on his truck's right side while it was parked at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive. Damage was estimated at $350.
Theft: A man in the 100 block of Indianola Road discovered a $40 jacket missing from his truck.
Theft: Police charged a 16-year-old Youngstown boy with theft after a $60 pair of shoes was stolen from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road. He also was charged with obstructing official business.
Theft: A girl, 17, and a woman, 20, both from Youngstown, were charged with theft after 12 pieces of clothing valued at $98 were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Arrest: Police arrested a 32-year-old New Wilmington, Pa., woman at the Southern Park Mall on one count of child endangering. Someone called police after alleging two children were left unattended in a vehicle.
Theft of services: An employee at Kubina-Yuhasz Funeral Home, 5935 Market St., discovered an unauthorized person filled a trash bin belonging to the business with discarded items.
Theft: A Cheswick, Pa., man reported a $150 CD player and $75 worth of CDs taken from his car parked in the 1400 block of Turnberry Drive.
Theft: A Poland woman reported her purse, $50 and a cellular phone missing when she was at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A man discovered an AM/FM CD stereo missing from his vehicle parked in his driveway in the 1200 block of Pioneer Drive.
Theft: Someone took 20 undergarments valued at $1,160 from Victoria's Secret in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal mischief: A Canfield woman leaving the Southern Park Mall noticed that someone had used a key to damage her car's finish.
Burglary: A woman reported that someone entered her garage in the 5300 block of Old Oxford Lane through a rear door and removed a $400 power washer and a shop vacuum.
Criminal mischief: A man in the 100 block of Indianola Road reported damage to a window and a window screen.
Theft, assault: A Youngstown man reported being assaulted and having his wallet stolen while the victim was near Hillman Way and Midlothian Boulevard.
Criminal mischief: An employee at the International House of Pancakes, 833 Boardman-Poland Road, told police a group of customers broke several syrup containers in the business's parking lot.
April 10
Domestic violence: A man, 24, was arrested at his residence in the 1800 block of Lynn Mar Avenue on a felony charge of domestic violence after a woman there reported being a victim. She had a minor injury on her right elbow and a bruise across her lower back.
Arrest: A 50-year-old Boardman man was cited at the Southern Park Mall on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated. A mall security employee requested that police remove a man he said was intoxicated, and officers say the man had an open container of alcohol in a public place.
Theft: Police arrested a 25-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after $249 worth of clothes was stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Auto theft: A 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass was missing from a driveway in the 4500 block of Grover Drive.
Criminal damage: A man discovered about $200 worth of lawn damage at his home in the 4700 block of Southern Boulevard.
Theft, criminal damage: A Boardman woman reported her car broken into, and her purse, $300 in cash, four tickets and four gift cards stolen, while her vehicle was at Boardman Township Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Someone left Sally Beauty Supply, 4300 Market St., without paying for a $40 hair dryer, a $23 curling iron and a bottle of conditioning lotion.
Theft: Someone pumped $19.31 worth of gasoline and left a BP gas station, 310 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying.
April 11
Domestic violence: A man, 22, in the 7000 block of West Boulevard was arrested at his residence on a felony domestic-violence charge and one misdemeanor count of violating a protection order. A North Jackson woman reported being a victim, and she had swelling on her right cheek and redness under her right eye.
Arrests: A 21-year-old Youngstown woman and a man, 21, also from Youngstown, were arrested near Market Street and Shields Road. The woman was charged with menacing after another woman in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue reported being threatened with physical harm. The man faced a charge of obstructing official business after police say he gave them false information.
Theft, criminal damage: Two people noticed their vehicles' door locks pried open while the cars were at Mr. Anthony's Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave. Items stolen included 50 CDs, a $120 CD player and a wallet.
Auto theft: A Salem woman reported her 1990 Chevrolet Caprice stolen from the Hometown Buffet parking lot, 387 Boardman-Poland Road.
Auto theft: A 1990 Buick LeSabre was stolen from a carport in the 4100 block of Hillman Way.
Auto theft: A Leavittsburg man reported his 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass stolen from a parking lot in the 90 block of Lemans Drive.
Theft: A Youngstown woman staying at the Microtel Inn, 7393 South Ave., reported 99 OxyContin tablets and $157 stolen from her.
POLAND
April 5
Drugs: After investigating a possible verbal dispute at an Orchard Drive residence, police arrested a 39-year-old man on a drug-abuse charge. A family member showed police three suspected crack pipes and a piece of paper containing suspected narcotics.
