MARTIN SLOANE | Supermarket Shopper Don't give up on those Internet coupons

Do you want more money-saving coupons? Do you want to see more promotion offers from your favorite brands?
Turn on your computer, access the Internet and follow me. Despite recent problems with a few supermarkets refusing to redeem Internet coupons, most Web sites that offered them before the ruckus are still offering them.
Kraft is offering three free workouts at a Curves fitness center. Curves is the phenomenally successful fitness franchise that was created specifically to provide women (no men allowed) with a 30-minute workout in a supportive, encouraging environment. To qualify for the Kraft offer, purchase any three participating products, and then take the register tapes with the products circled to any Curves fitness center location. It's as easy as that. The long list of participating products, as well as a link to find the Curves location nearest you, is on the Kraft Web site at: www.kraftfoods.com. Click on Promotions and then look for the list of Other Promotions on the right side of the screen. The offer is good for new Curves members only and expires on Dec. 31.
Motts is offering a $5 rebate for purchasing a LeapPad book and any two Motts products. LeapPad/Leap-Frog is a leader in educational and electronic toys for children. Find the offer and print out the required mail-in form at www.mottsproducts.com. It expires on July 31.
For your eyes only
If you have been thinking about trying contact lenses, go to the Bausch & amp; Lomb Web site promotion page: www.bausch.com/us/vision/promotions/ where you will find free trial offers for several types of the company's "Soflens" products.
At www.airwick.us you will find several coupons to print out. You will be asked to provide your name and e-mail address, as well as fill out a brief survey about some of the household products you use. These surveys are typical of most offers that allow you to print out manufacturer coupons. When they get too personal, I usually don't bother offering the information.
Betty Crocker has lots of Internet coupons to distribute for General Mills products at: www.bettycrocker.com/clippings/coupons.asp. On a recent evening I found coupons for 60 cents off Old El Paso salsa; $1.50 off five boxes Hamburger Helper or other Helper varieties; 45-cents off BC frosting; 80 cents off two boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios; and 80-cents off two Yoplait Gogurts.
At www.wyeth.com you will find coupons for Wyeth Consumer Healthcare products. The company manufactures Advil, Caltrate, Anbesol and Centrum. Click on "products" and look for the link to "discounts and latest offers."
At www.brawnyman.com you will find a 50-cent coupon for paper napkins.
All of the major baby product makers have Web sites and they are some of the best and most productive. At www.beech-nut.com when you sign up for the e-mail newsletter you will receive "Thanks for Joining" coupons. Join the "Growing Up Gerber" club and receive information and a package of savings worth up to $45. Find the offer and lots of helpful information at: www.gerber.com. Bright Beginnings offers intelligent, affordable nutrition for infants, toddlers and preadolescents. Its milk-based and soy-based infant formulas are produced by Wyeth Nutrition. On the homepage of the Bright Beginnings Web site: www.brightbeginnings.com you will find an offers of a free sample and a free Beanie Stork doll.
Charmin is offering a free kid-friendly potty training kit at: www.charmin.com. Sign up to receive a poster, stickers, a storybook, a picture frame magnet and a roll ruler. Procter & amp; Gamble is confident this kit will help you get your young one on the road to potty training success. I receive dozens of e-mail newsletters from packaged goods manufacturers.
The March issue of Procter & amp; Gamble's "Home Made Simple" contained seven links to sweepstakes from various P & amp;G brands and a $5 off coupon on the new Mr. Clean AutoDry Carwash. To find more offers from P & amp;G, go to: www.brandsaver.com where I recently found a free sample of Olay Total Effects 7X, and a $1 coupon for the Crest SpinBrush. Under "Offer Finder" look for a link to a special page for additional P & amp;G promotions.
Personal information
If manufacturers are using the personal information I provide to select the offers they send me, it is not always obvious. My e-mail recently included a message from Tylenol: "Dear Martin, if you are preparing for a health-related career, you may qualify for tuition relief through the Tylenol Scholarship Program. For the 13th year, the makers of Tylenol are easing tuition pain for undergraduate and graduate students by offering $250,000 in college scholarships."
All the offers mentioned in this column were current when it was written. However, offers on the Internet do change. To find more offers, go to the "Brand Offers" section on my Smart Shopper Web site: www.siteforsavings.com.
