Family vacation planned to mark Bresnans' jubilee



XGREENVILLE, Pa. -- Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bresnan of Greenville, Pa., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during a family vacation that has been planned for later this summer.
Their family includes Debra and Mike DeMicco of Glenford, N.Y.; David and Kathy Bresnan of Cortland; Diane and Jerry E. Stoyer of Greenville; and four grandchildren.
The former Donna L. Barrows and Mr. Bresnan were married April 3, 1954, at Zion Reformed Church where they are members.
Mr. Bresnan was a machinist with the former R.D. Werner Plant for 16 years, and retired in 1999 from General Motors Corp., Lordstown, after 32 years of service as a toolmaker and as a health and safety training coordinator. He served as a military police officer with the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 and is a member of the Lions Club, Cpl. James O. Jordan VFW Post 3374 and the Elks Club Lodge 145, all of Greenville.
Mrs. Bresnan worked 11 years at the Milo Williams Jewelry Store, and was employed 25 years as a teacher and aide with Mrs. Fitzgerald's Preschool and Day Care Center and with Zion Community Preschool. She retired in 1998.
