TRUMBULL COUNTY Police continue probe of shooting Friday outside Eastwood Expo bar

NILES -- Police continued investigating witnesses and suspects from a shooting after a local rap concert.
Police Chief Bruce Simeone said no additional arrests have been made, but authorities are conferring with local legal advisers about charges.
The melee took place around 1 a.m. Friday outside the Center Stage bar at the Eastwood Expo Center. The party was held after a concert by hip-hop artist Lil Scrappy; patrons reportedly became agitated after event sponsors ran out of alcohol and about 400 patrons were forced to stay in a small area of the bar.
Officers were first called to a fight, but reports show shots were fired, and one person was injured by gunfire and taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.
Police did not release many details Friday, including the name of the shooting victim, but did confirm they were interviewing two suspects.
Simeone said police have arrested about four people but were not releasing their names pending their arraignment in Niles Municipal Court. City offices were closed for Good Friday.
Also injured during the fight was Officer Rich Bailey, who was hit over the head with a bottle. Bailey received several stitches for the injuries at Trumbull Memorial Hospital and was released Friday morning.
Simeone said it was unknown how long Bailey would be off work.
