He was born Jan. 26, 1928 in Youngstown, the son of John and Gwendolyn Deibel Fuscoe. & lt;BR & gt;
A 1947 graduate of The Rayen School, Mr. Fuscoe moved to Florida in 1956 and worked for the city of Miami. He was a member of the Inverness Elks Lodge. & lt;BR & gt;
His wife, the former Lucille Clond, died Jan. 12, 1997. & lt;BR & gt;
He leaves three cousins, Florence Daggett of Youngstown, Dorothy Honey of Poland and Myron Jones of Erie, Pa.

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP & amp;#150; Robert J. Rodgers, 89, of 7110 Stewart Road, passed away peacefully at 2:30 a.m. Thursday at Sharon Regional Health System following an extended illness. & lt;BR & gt;
He was born March 28, 1915 in the Patagonia area of Hermitage, Pa., the son of Lewis and Ella McCarthy Rodgers, and was a lifelong area resident. & lt;BR & gt;
Mr. Rodgers graduated from the former Sacred Heart School and the Hickory High School in 1934. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in the Buhl Station, where he began as a letter carrier and retired as a supervisor in 1973. After his retirement, he worked for the Dairy Queen at the corner of State Street and Cohasset in Hermitage for 12 years. & lt;BR & gt;
He was a decorated U.S. Army veteran, having served during WWII and received the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medak, European African Middle Eastern Campaign medal and the WWII Victory medal. He met and was photographed with the soon to be Shah of Iran while stationed in the Persian Gulf. & lt;BR & gt;
In 1966, he was honored by the mayor of Sharon, Pa., Basil, C. Scott, as a recipient of the Citizen Recognition Award at the celebration of the cities & amp;#146; 125th anniversary. & lt;BR & gt;
Mr. Rodgers was a charter member of the Catholic War Veterans Post No. 14436 in Sharon, where he had served as past Commander and was a lifetime member of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Sharon, where he served as an usher, reader and money counter and taught CCD in his earlier years. He loved motorcycles and auto racing and was fortunate to have driven his Harley Davidson to the first Bike Week at Daytona Beach, Fla., in 1940. & lt;BR & gt;
He loved his God, country and family and served them all to the best of his ability in a humble fashion. He especially loved, not only being a father, but being a friend to all of his children. & lt;BR & gt;
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Rosemary Sheridan at home, whom he married Dec. 29, 1941; a daughter, Sheridan M. & amp;#147;Sherry & amp;#148; Hogg and husband John G. of West Middlesex, Pa.; two sons, Robert P. Rodgers and wife Rosemarie B. of Brookfield Township and Terrance & amp;#147;Terry & amp;#148; W. Rodgers and wife Darla J. of Boardman; a brother, Eugene B. Rogers of Sharon; his grandchildren, Robert M. Rodgers, Megan J. Rodgers, Donald C. Hogg, James G. Hogg, Christopher R. Hogg and Jason M. Hogg, whom he loved dearly and will sadly miss him; a great-grandson, Dustin M. Hogg; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Sarah, whom was his good and faithful companion. & lt;BR & gt;
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, P. Louis Rodgers; and three sisters, Lillian Black, Helene Uhl and Marguerite O & amp;#146;Neil. & lt;BR & gt;
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home, 1090 E. State St. in Sharon, where there will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Stanley J. Swacha, pastor of the Church of the Sacred Heart, as celebrant. & lt;BR & gt;
Interment will be at St. Mary & amp;#146;s Cemetery in Hermitage, with full military honors provided by the Sharon Honor Guard. & lt;BR & gt;
