NHL ROUNDUP Saturday's other games

Blues 4, Predators 1
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Brian Savage scored the tiebreaking goal at 2:43 of the third period as the St. Louis Blues clinched their 25th consecutive playoff berth.
The Blues' run, which started in 1980, is the longest such streak in major league sports.
St. Louis scored a pair of empty-net goals in the final 90 seconds.
Rangers 3, Capitals 2, OT
WASHINGTON -- Bobby Holik scored two goals, including the winner 1:08 into overtime.
It was just the second win for New York in its final 12 games. The Rangers finished this disappointing season with the sixth worst record in the NHL. That, however, is good enough to keep them out of the lottery for a chance at the top pick in the draft.
Mike Green also scored for the Rangers (27-40-7-8).
Jeff Halpern scored twice for Washington marking the first time this season he had more than one goal in a game.
Coyotes 2, Blackhawks 1, OT
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Krys Kolanos scored 2:55 into overtime, completing a Phoenix rally.
Brian Boucher had 23 saves for Phoenix, which trailed for more than 42 minutes before Paul Mara finally solved Chicago rookie Adam Munro with 58.8 seconds left in regulation.
Blackhawks rookie Tuomo Ruutu scored his 23rd goal, and Munro made 41 saves, nearly posting a shutout in his seventh NHL start.
Devils 5, Bruins 2
BOSTON -- Martin Brodeur stopped 38 shots and Scott Niedermayer and Patrik Elias each had a goal and two assists as New Jersey moved into first place in the Atlantic Division.
Maple Leafs 6, Senators 0
OTTAWA -- Ed Belfour made 28 saves in his second straight shutout and the Toronto Maple Leafs scored four goals in the second period. Belfour, who stopped 17 shots in a 2-0 win against Buffalo on Friday, earned his career-best 10th shutout this season and the 75th of his career. He is tied with New Jersey's Martin Brodeur for the lead among active goalies and one blanking behind Tony Esposito for seventh on the NHL list. Joe Nieuwendyk scored twice for the Maple Leafs.
Canadiens 6, Sabres 3
MONTREAL-- Pierre Dagenais scored twice in the first period and the Montreal Canadiens secured the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Jim Dowd, Richard Zednik, Michael Ryder and Steve Begin also scored for Montreal, which stopped a five-game losing streak in the regular-season finale.
Brian Campbell, Daniel Briere and Jean-Pierre Dumont scored for the Sabres, who were eliminated from playoff contention with a 2-0 loss to Toronto on Friday.
Thrashers 2, Lightning 1
TAMPA, Fla. -- Ilya Kovalchuk scored his NHL-leading 41st goal and the Atlanta Thrashers tallied twice in the third period.
Kovalchuk tied it at 1 with a breakaway goal 4:11 into the third. Shawn McEachern put the Thrashers ahead 2-1 with his first goal in 10 games, scored from the left circle at 7:04.
It was the regular-season finale for both teams. The Lightning enter the playoffs as the top-seeded team in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta has not reached the postseason in its five NHL seasons.
Martin St. Louis earned his NHL-leading 94th point on a second-period goal for the Lightning. St. Louis put Tampa Bay ahead 1-0 when he scored from the right circle during a three-on-one 4:42 into the second period. The goal came one second after Tampa Bay killed off a penalty.
