HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY Clara Gorski

Birth date: April 9, 1904, in Wheeling, W.Va.
Residence: Alternates living with her nieces, Veronica Feret of Boardman and Theresa Susa of Youngstown.
Background: Miss Gorski's father, Albert, came to the United States from Poland in 1892 and four years later his wife and three children followed. Miss Gorski is the sixth of seven children in the family. After the family settled in Youngstown when Miss Gorski was a small child, the family joined St. Stanislaus Church. Miss Gorski still is a member of the church and is a former choir member. She also is a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild. Miss Gorski worked for Harr Tailors in Youngstown before retiring. She maintained her own home until March 2003.
Celebration: Miss Gorski will be honored during a Mass at 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Church in Youngstown then at a dinner at the church hall for family and friends.
