Greiners mark 50th anniversary at family dinner

XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. John Greiner Sr., 549 Pierce Drive, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a private family dinner that was held at 5 p.m. March 29 at Damon's Restaurant in Niles.
Hosts for the event were their children and their spouses, Pam and John Shargo of Boardman, John and Lori Greiner of Youngstown and Nancy Greiner of Niles and her fiance, Ricky Witt of Austintown.
The family circle includes four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son, David A. Greiner, and a granddaughter are deceased.
The former Martha Jean Moylan and John Greiner were married March 29, 1954, in Cumberland, Md. They attend Wickliffe Presbyterian Church in Austintown.
Mr. Greiner served with the U.S. Army, and was a carpenter with Local 171 Carpenter's Union in Youngstown prior to retiring. His wife is a homemaker.
