ASSOCIATIONS
XMill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet at 6 p.m. April 13 at the Saxon Club. The speaker will be Tracy Woodring, beauty consultant. The dinner menu will feature pork chops, Swiss steak, scalloped potatoes, green beans, mushrooms, salad, rolls, dessert and beverage. XTri-County and Gold Torch Chapters of the American Business Women's Association will hold an anniversary-charter night April 14 at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman. Tri-County will mark its 35th and final anniversary. Past presidents, charter members, women of the year and those with perfect attendance will be recognized. A signing ceremony will take place as Tri-County and Gold Torch Chapters merge to become Tri-Gold Prime Time Chapter. Sarah Janutolo, president of Mahoning Valley Network Council of ABWA, and delegates from local chapters will preside and install new officers. There will be a 5:30 p.m. social time with dinner at 6. Menu choices are chicken francaise, baked scrod or Swiss steak and includes mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, salad or fruit cup, beverage and chocolate parfait. The cost is $17. XWestern Reserve Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals will recognize Administrative Professionals Day during a dinner April 21 at Cafe 422, Niles. A social time will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner at 6. The cost is $18 and is payable at the door. Ann Fitzgerald, regional director of Organizational Development and Learning for Humility of Mary Health Partners, will present a program on "Communicating for Success." XAmerican Legion Auxiliary, Austintown Post 301, will meet at 7:30 p.m. April 14 at the hall on Oakwood Avenue. Plans will be made for the garage and craft sale scheduled April 24.

XDaughters of the American Revolution, Mahoning Chapter, will meet at noon April 13 at Canfield Presbyterian Church with Joanne Collier presiding. Betsy Casgrain will give the president general's address and Elaine Gorant, the national defense report. Sally Moldovan will lead devotions. XFriends of the Boardman Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. April 12 at the community room. William Carney, past president of Youngstown Men's Garden Club will speak on "Bats - The Helpful Flying Mammals." Guests are welcome. Reservations are not required.
