BAZAARS
XHungarian Presbyterian Church, 755 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a spring bazaar and dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25 at the Calvin Center. The dinner menu is stuffed cabbage and kolbasi, parsley potatoes, applesauce, bread, dessert and beverage. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Reservations may be made through April 20 by calling the church office at (330) 747-8760 or (330) 793-8233 or (330) 757-9108. There also will be a bake sale, 50-50 raffle and trash and treasure sale.
BINGO/CARD PARTIES
XThe Altar and Rosary Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald, will sponsor a card and bingo party at 7 p.m. April 25 in the church hall. There will be raffles and door prizes. The cost is $4.
SALES
XAmerican Legion Auxiliary of Austintown Post 301 will hold a garage and craft sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 24 at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive, Austintown. Table rental is $20. Call (330) 799-2951, (330) 792-5960 or (330) 792-5106. Refreshments also will be sold.
XFriends of Hubbard Public Library, 436 W. Liberty St., are accepting clean used books and videos for a spring sale to be held in May. There will be a $5 donation for the preview night to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. May 6. The general sale will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 7 and 8, with a $2 a bag sale featured from 2 to 4 p.m. May 8.
XThe Day Circle of Southington United Methodist Church, Routes 305 and 534 in Southington, will hold a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 14. Lunch of homemade soups, sandwiches, pies and beverages will be available. Takeouts also will be available. Bag day will be from 9 to 11 a.m. April 15.
