LOS ANGELES -- Tony Parker had 29 points and nine assists as San Antonio won its sixth straight and moved within 1 1/2 games of the best record in the West. Tim Duncan added 18 points, 13 rebounds and six assists and Bruce Bowen and Manu Ginobili scored 12 points each for the Spurs. The Lakers had their 11-game winning streak snapped and dropped into third place in the West. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 28 points and six rebounds, but he shot just 9-of-26. Gary Payton had 21 points and eight rebounds, Shaquille O'Neal added 17 points and nine rebounds and Karl Malone had 12 points and nine rebounds.
Timberwolves 90, Grizzlies 82
MINNEAPOLIS -- Sam Cassell scored a season-high 36 points and Kevin Garnett had 14 points and 22 rebounds for Minnesota's fifth straight victory. James Posey scored 19 points, Pau Gasol had 15 and Jason Williams had 10 points and 10 assists for Memphis, which had its seven-game winning streak snapped. Michael Olowokandi had 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Pistons 79, Pacers 61
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Richard Hamilton scored 24 points and Detroit held Indiana to a season-low for points and 34.2 percent shooting. Rasheed Wallace didn't provide much offense, scoring seven points on 3-for-11 shooting. Ron Artest scored 16 points for the Pacers. Jermaine O'Neal, still recovering from a sprained left knee, had just nine points in 37 minutes.
Kings 99, Rockets 94
HOUSTON -- Peja Stojakovic had 28 points and 11 rebounds, and Chris Webber added 19 points to lead Sacramento. Yao Ming had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Jim Jackson added 18 points for the Rockets, who lost their fourth straight.
Bucks 90, Raptors 83
TORONTO -- Brian Skinner had 19 points and a season-high 14 rebounds to help Milwaukee clinch a playoff spot. Michael Redd added 17 points for the Bucks. Jalen Rose had 21 points for the Raptors, who have lost seven straight.
Wizards 112, Celtics 102
WASHINGTON -- Gilbert Arenas scored 32 points, including a four-point play with 1:25 remaining. Larry Hughes added 29 points for Washington. Marcus Banks, who finished with six steals, led the Celtics with a career-high 24 points on 11-for-13 shooting. Paul Pierce added 17 points and tied his career-high with 13 assists. He also had seven rebounds.
Nets 106, Hawks 89
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Richard Jefferson had 20 points and a career-high 12 assists for New Jersey, which won its third straight. Kerry Kittles added 16 points and the Nets overcame the absence of Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin by shooting 53.7 percent. All five starters scored in double figures, with Lucious Harris adding 14 points and Jason Collins and Rodney Rogers 13 apiece.
SuperSonics 96, Hornets 88
SEATTLE -- Ray Allen scored 25 points, leading five Seattle players in double figures, and the SuperSonics snapped a four-game losing streak. Brent Barry had 14 points, nine rebounds and six assists, while Rashard Lewis scored 14 points. Reggie Evans had 12 rebounds and Ronald Murray and Calvin Booth each scored 12 points, matching a season high for Booth. New Orleans played again without Baron Davis, out with a sprained left ankle, and the Hornets fell to 1-5 without him. Jamal Mashburn, on the injured list with an inflamed right knee, missed his 14th straight game.
Jazz 97, Clippers 92
LOS ANGELES -- Andrei Kirilenko scored 18 points and Carlos Arroyo got nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter. The Clippers lost their 11th straight game. Corey Maggette scored 26 points and reserve center Predrag Drobnjak added 18 for the Clippers, who have lost 19 of 21 overall -- and 20 of their last 22 against the Jazz. Los Angeles coach Mike Dunleavy was ejected when he got two technical fouls with 5:23 remaining in the third quarter.
