Best Bets on TV Tonight



Impatient for tomorrow's NCAA Championship? With basketball in the national spotlight, "Wilt Chamberlain: Larger Than Life" (4:30 p.m., CBS) is a new show about an athlete who was truly a legend in his own time. Preceded at 3:30 by a preview of tomorrow's game.
The annual showing of the popular biblical epic "The Ten Commandments" (7 p.m., ABC) comes as Christians begin Holy Week and Jews prepare for Passover. Don't forget that this was a very long movie to begin with, and on commercial TV it runs more than 41/2 hours.
It can be hard to keep track of a favorite show these days. So be warned that "American Dreams" (8 p.m., ABC) is concluding its season tonight.
On "The Simpsons" (8 p.m., Fox), after breaking her engagement to Principal Skinner, Bart's teacher (Marcia Wallace) ends up at the one place on Earth where a woman can never be found -- a comic-book convention.
MIT students put their smarts to use by showing how to mathematically break the bank in Las Vegas blackjack on "Breaking Vegas" (8 p.m., History Channel). At least they're using their hard-earned, pricey educations for the betterment of mankind.
