U.S. SENATE | Poll
The Institute for Policy Research at the University of Cincinnati released a poll measuring support in the November race for U.S. Senate between George Voinovich, the Republican incumbent, and state Sen. Eric Fingerhut, his Democratic challenger. The margin of error is 3.9 percent. The telephone poll was conducted March 10-22 of 647 registered voters in Ohio.
MARCH POLL
Voinovich: 54 percent.
Fingerhut: 38 percent.
Other/Undecided: 8 percent.
SEPTEMBER 2003 POLL
Voinovich: 63 percent.
Fingerhut: 30 percent.
Other/Undecided: 7 percent.
FEBRUARY 2003 POLL
Voinovich: 67 percent.
Fingerhut: 24 percent.
Other/Undecided: 9 percent.
