BOARDMAN
March 23
Drugs: Police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown man at his home in the 800 block of Michigan Avenue on two felony counts of trafficking in drugs.
Thefts: A 43-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Mahoning County jail on two counts of theft. A $10 disposable camera and three packs of cigarettes were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, and two cordless phones were removed from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 285 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Bad check: An employee at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, cashed a $305 state check that was later reported stolen.
Domestic violence: A 37-year-old Boardman man was arrested at his home in the 10 block of Shadyside Drive on a domestic-violence charge after a woman there reported being a victim.
Theft: A 16-year-old Boardman boy was arrested at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave., and charged with theft after $70 was stolen from the school's cafeteria.
Theft: A woman reported someone stole a $200 green chiminea from her back yard in the 400 block of Grover Drive.
Theft: A Canfield man reported his credit card was stolen while he was at Smoky Bones restaurant, 6651 South Ave., and that the card was misused.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 7800 block of East Parkside Drive discovered damage to her car and $50 worth damage to the vinyl siding of her home.
Theft: An Edinburg, Pa., man noticed his wallet containing $202 stolen while he shopped at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: Someone left a BP gas station, 310 Boardman-Canfield Road, and failed to pay for $18.66 worth of gasoline.
Theft: A Solon, Ohio, man reported two children's rides stolen from in front of Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road. The loss was estimated at $2,000.
Theft: Police arrested a 21-year-old Wellsville man on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools after four DVDs were removed from Wal-Mart.
Assault: Police responded to Jillian's Entertainment in the Southern Park Mall after a fight broke out in the parking lot involving five people. A Youngstown man had a swollen left hand.
Domestic violence: A 45-year-old Lake Shore Drive man was arrested at his home and charged with domestic violence after a woman there reported being a victim.
March 24
Arrest: A 28-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at Office Max, 427 Boardman-Poland Road. The man was wanted on a warrant charging him with sexual assault on a child.
Theft: Police arrested a 50-year-old Youngstown woman on a felony theft charge after 25 clothing items valued at $724.46 were stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman in the 90 block of Willow Drive discovered unauthorized purchases had been made at various businesses with her bank debit card.
Theft: Someone took a $150 compact photo printer from Radio Shack, 7131 Tiffany Blvd.
Attempted robbery: An employee at National City Bank, 7401 Market St., reported an attempted bank robbery.
Vandalism: A Youngstown woman reported someone did $400 worth of paint damage to the passenger side of a company van belonging to Beatitude House, 287 Lora Ave., Youngstown, while the vehicle was parked at Lens Crafters, 265 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: Someone took two shrimp platters worth $36 from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
March 25
Arrest: A 20-year-old Boardman man was arrested in the 8200 block of Market Street on a felony charge of trafficking in drugs.
Arrest: A 57-year-old man was arrested at his home in the 6300 block of South Avenue and charged with impersonating a police officer. A Youngstown woman told police someone pretending to be a police officer approached her while she was in the Southern Park Mall.
Breaking and entering: An employee at a doctor's office in the 6500 block of South Avenue reported the business was broken into. A $1,200 desktop computer, a 150-watt amplifier, a compact-disc player and an inkjet printer were stolen.
Misuse of a credit card: An employee at Office Max reported someone misused a credit card to buy a $950 computer, a $350 digital camera and a printer.
Arrests: An Austintown girl, 14, and a Boardman woman, 24, were arrested in the 5600 block of Market Street. The girl was charged with being a runaway juvenile and the woman faced a charge of obstructing official business.
Theft: A woman in the 8100 block of Tod Avenue discovered her car parked nearby had its rear license plate removed.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown women, 27 and 19, on theft charges after eight pairs of tennis shoes valued at $178 and three T-shirts were stolen from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A Lake Milton man discovered his Ohio driver's license was taken while he was at Miller Rod & amp; Gun, 5140 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Aggravated burglary: Nothing was missing after someone broke into an apartment in the 7100 block of Locust Avenue through the front door.
March 26
Arrests: After stopping a vehicle near Erskine Avenue and Southern Boulevard, police arrested two 31-year-old Boardman men. One was charged with carrying a concealed weapon; the other man faced a charge of improperly handling a firearm.
Theft: A man in the 5500 block of Glenwood Avenue reported a 26-inch bicycle stolen from his residence.
Theft: A 17-year-old Youngstown girl faced a theft charge after someone attempted to steal a $70 pair of tennis shoes from Kohl's.
Assault: A Hubbard man told police his seventh-grade son was assaulted by another pupil in a hallway at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St.
Theft, criminal damaging: A man in the 100 block of Lemans Drive reported his car broken into and 15 CDs stolen. The vehicle had about $455 worth of damage to its dashboard, glove compartment and a passenger-side window.
Theft, criminal damaging: A woman discovered her vehicle's passenger-side window broken, and a $200 AM-FM-CD player taken, while the car was in a carport near her residence in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue.
Theft: An employee at Gem Set Jewelry, 6951 Market St., discovered a night deposit bag containing $1,150 missing.
Arrest: After his vehicle was pulled over near the Southern Park Mall, a 24-year-old Boardman man was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a probation violation charge.
Stolen property: A 19-year-old Canfield man was arrested near Market Street and Meadowbrook Avenue and charged with receiving stolen property after a $60 pair of tennis shoes was taken from Shoe Carnival, 550 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: A Columbiana man, 37, was arrested on state Route 7 on a felony charge of receiving stolen property and one misdemeanor count of misuse of a credit card.
Arrest: Police arrested a 23-year-old woman at her Allen Drive residence on a felony warrant charging her with receiving stolen property.
March 27
Breaking and entering: An employee at Trumbull Mahoning Medical Group, 901 Trailwood Drive, discovered a window was shattered, and two money bags containing $100 were stolen.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 6300 block of Tara Drive noticed three of his vehicle's tires had been damaged.
Theft, criminal damaging: A man in the 700 block of Indianola Road discovered his car's driver's-side door window broken, and a $50 radio stolen while the vehicle was in the 4400 block of Lake Park Road.
Theft: Police arrested a 51-year-old Warren man on a theft charge after a $65 pair of shoes and a $55 coat were stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Robbery: A 21-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested on a robbery charge after an employee at the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall reported 14 children's clothing items valued at $345.86 were stolen. The employee had a cut on his right wrist and a bruised right forearm.
March 28
Theft, criminal damaging: A Youngstown woman reported her vehicle broken into and property stolen while the car was parked at Battaglia's, 1714 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A Salem man reported someone broke into his father's car parked at Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road, and removed a $400 CD player.
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop on U.S. Route 224 near Interstate 680, police arrested an 18-year-old Poland man and charged him with underage possession of alcohol. Officers say they found a can of beer and a bottle containing an undetermined alcoholic beverage in the car.
Arrests: A Boardman man, 19, and a Struthers man, 18, were arrested at Taco Bell, 940 Boardman-Poland Road, on charges of aggravated menacing. A witness told police he saw two people carrying weapons assembling with a large group of people preparing to fight in the restaurant's parking lot. Also, a 17-year-old Boardman boy was charged with underage consumption and possession of alcohol, possession of tobacco products and a curfew violation.
Theft, criminal damaging: A Poland woman reported her vehicle was ransacked, and a $100 coat, $300 worth of hair-care tools, a CD player and a pack of cigarettes were taken while the car was in the 100 block of Lemans Drive. Also, another woman reported her car parked in the same area was broken into and various items were removed.
Theft, criminal damaging: A man in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road told police someone put three dents in his vehicle's hatch area, causing about $1,000 in damage, and stole a $1,000 video camera from inside.
Arrest: Police arrested a 51-year-old man at his home in the 4500 block of Waseka Lane on a warrant from Struthers charging him with failure to appear in court on a drug charge. He also was wanted on warrants charging him with cocaine possession and failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown boys, 15 and 16, on theft charges after two $150 cellular phones and a pair of scissors were stolen from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.

March 26
Theft: A Youngstown man alleged a Struthers man removed various tools from a construction site in the 100 block of South Main Street.
Theft: After responding to a report of a suspicious person near Riverside Drive, police said an 18-year-old Heatherbrae Drive man admitted he removed a sign from the area.
