VALLEY INTEREST Columbiana superintendent

Several applicants for Columbiana Schools superintendent are administrators or teachers in the Mahoning Valley. Former Superintendent Patricia Hura died of cancer in October 2003. Treasurer Lori Posey said about 40 educators sent inquiries. The board of education will begin interviews April 22 and expects to fill the position by June 1.
