Clijsters out three more weeks with injury

BRUSSELS, Belgium (AP) -- Kim Clijsters will have to keep her left wrist in a brace for three more weeks, further sidelining the world's No. 2 player, her Web site reported today.
The Belgian pulled out of the Indian Wells tournament two weeks ago with a torn tendon and had hoped to begin preparing for her spring season by now.
The injury was first diagnosed as a stress reaction before it became clear a tendon in her left wrist had a half-inch tear in it. She has been wearing a brace up to her knuckles ever since.
Even though she's right-handed, one of Clijsters' signature moves is a double-fisted backhand, making it impossible to play with an injured left hand.
