MONEY MATTERS 50 years of service

The chapter was organized in 1953 to provide an educational, philanthrophic and social outlet for area women. Members' efforts include:
Supporting philanthropic projects with money raised through a number of fund-raising activities such as making and selling pies at the East Palestine Park Festival and by selling ride tickets each year at East Palestine American Legion Street Fair.
Honoring an area person or organization each year that made a difference in the city of East Palestine.
They also:
Provide financial support for a young girls softball team
Offer support for the work at the Kyes Home by donating cosmetic and other personal gifts and visiting residents.
Serve sandwiches and cookies to blood donors at area blood banks.
Contribute to the social concerns of a needy family each year at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Donate monetary gifts to a charity selected each year by the president.
Participate each year in the St. Jude Walk-O-Thon.
