Western Reserve outlasts Sebring; Lordstown downs Bloomfield

SEBRING -- Andrea Hernan collected 10 points, three aces and four kills Wednesday, as the Western Reserve High volleyball team defeated Sebring, 15-12, 7-15, 15-11.
The Blue Devils (8-8) also got five points, two aces and eight digs from Andrea Martin while Tekla Toman tacked on eight kills and four blocks.
For Sebring (5-9), Ashley Amabeli had 10 points, four aces and seven kills while Amy Brunie added six points, an ace and seven kills.
Lordstown 15-15, Bloomfield 4-0
LORDSTOWN -- Alycia Israel had 18 points with two aces and made seven assists as the Red Devils improved to 12-1 overall and 8-0 in the Northeastern Athletic Conference.
Janelle Beaver had eight points with two aces, four kills and three blocks. Amanda Kistler had four kills and two digs.
