MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL--Suspended St. Louis C Mike Matheny for three games, St. Louis manager Tony La Russa for two games and St. Louis pitching coach Dave Duncan for one game, and fined each an undisclosed amount for their actions in a Sept. 13 game.
