XCLEVELAND -- The Sept. 6 wedding of Robyn Christina Fox and Mathew John Uber, both of 9447 Ponderosa Lane, Olmsted Falls, took place at 3 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, where vows were exchanged in the presence of the Rev. Kerry King.
A reception was held afterward at Briarwood Country Club in Broadview Heights before the couple left for a honeymoon at Fort Myers Beach, Fla.
The daughter of Verna Kokitka of North Olmsted and Robert Fox of Olmsted Falls and the son of Joan Darnell, 737 Golfview Road, Boardman, and Jeff Uber of Canfield live in Olmsted Falls.
Delicate beading enhanced the bodice of the bride's sleeveless gown of white satin designed with spaghetti straps, a gently scooped neckline and a cathedral train.
Periwinkle and pale-yellow gowns were worn by Barbara Davis, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Stacey Uber, a sister of the groom; Tonya Boyle, the bride's cousin; and Mariah Tilicki, her niece. Serving as flower girl was another niece of the bride, Destiny French.
The duties of best man were performed by Chad Cromer, and groomsmen were Mike Welther, Jeff Anderson and Jess Rowney. The bride's nephew, Charlie French, was ring bearer.
A graduate of Ohio State University in Columbus with a degree in hospitality management, the bride is a sales manager with Cleveland Airport Radisson Hotel.
The groom, an office manager with GIE Media in Cleveland, earned a degree in marketing at Ohio University in Athens.
