Mr. and Mrs. James Buchman celebrate golden anniversary

XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. James Buchman were honored Sept. 13 at a private party at their home in Boardman in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary.
The Rev. Gerard Lessard officiated in the couple's garden as they renewed their vows. Arrangements for the festivity were made by the couple's daughters and sons-in-law, Alexia and P.J. Kreuzwieser of North Canton and Elise and James Wallace of Akron. Four grandchildren complete the family.
Mr. Buchman and the former Louise Torello were married Sept. 12, 1953, at St. Charles Church. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and is retired from Torello Construction Co., where he was president. He is an officer with Branch 30 of the Saxon Club and past recipient of its Man of the Year award.
His wife was treasurer of Torello Construction Co. and is an officer with the Saxon Club. She is also a precinct committeewoman.
The Buchmans are members of St. Dominic Church in Youngstown.
