XALLIANCE -- The courtyard at Glamorgan Castle was the setting at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13 for the medieval-themed wedding of Mandy Maloney and James Richmond, both of 15435 Leffingwell Road, Berlin Center.
The Rev. Jonathon Miller, a cousin of the bride, presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Michael and Kimberly Maloney, 18051 Ellsworth Road, Lake Milton, and the son of Jimmie and Patty Richmond, 14989 W. Middletown Road, Salem. A reception followed at the Timberlanes in Salem.
The bride's chiffon gown was embellished with pearls and featured cathedral-length panels that flowed from the shoulders and extended over the chapel train. She completed her ensemble with a pearl tiara.
Honor attendant was Holly Fisher, and bridesmaids were Dora Bullock, Lindsay Murray and Sharon Roosa, a sister of the groom.
Henry Percy served as best man, and groomsmen were Edgar Tuttle, Jon Lutes and the bride's brother, Mitchel Maloney. Honorary groomsman was the bride's brother, Lance Cpl. Robert Maloney, who is stationed in Hawaii.
A graduate of Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology in Dayton, the bride holds an associate degree in photographic technology and is a photographer with Stacey Studio in Canfield.
The groom, a paralegal with Great Lakes Energy Partner in Hartville, served with the U.S. Army in Germany and is a member of the Army Reserve Unit 153rd LSO.
They live in Berlin Center.
