XLOWELLVILLE -- The Rev. Gerald DeLucia officiated Sept. 6 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church for the 2 p.m. wedding of Kristine Heban and Michael Carchedi.
The couple received a papal blessing, and a reception was held at The Embassy in Youngstown.
Parents of the newlyweds are John and Mary Heban, 4462 New Castle Road, and Vito Carchedi of Austintown.
The bride's white satin ball gown featured a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves trimmed with re-embroidered lace. The skirt flowed to a cathedral train.
Matron of honor was Angela McLaughlin, and bridesmaids were Doreen Mills and Kathleen Kerr, the bride's sisters; Kim Iudiciani, the groom's sister; Lauren Callucci and Cory Heban, the bride's nieces; Stacey Harklerode; and Lisa Leone, the groom's cousin. They wore wine-colored gowns. Junior bride was Meagan Mills, the bride's niece.
Vito Carchedi, the groom's brother, and Keith McCoughtry, his cousin, were best men, and groomsmen were Bob Boggia; Joey Iudiciani, his nephew; Lou Sfara; Bob Sciulli; Anthony Panici, his cousin; and Rodney Ciccone.
The couple are living at 518 W. Liberty St., Hubbard.
Mrs. Carchedi holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in counseling. She is a customer-service representative at Labor Ready in Warren.
Her husband is employed as a carpet technician with Stanley Steemer in Boardman.
