XYOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. David Rhodes officiated for the marriage of Erin Maureen Boyle and Jason Edward Bishop, both of 4230 Helena Ave., at noon Aug. 30 at St. Christine Church. A reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center honored the daughter of Thomas and Colleen Boyle of Youngstown and the son of Joyce Bishop of Poland and Robert and Rachel Bishop of Boardman.
The newlyweds plan a delayed honeymoon to the Bahamas.
Mrs. Bishop earned a bachelor's degree in community health at Youngstown State University and is pursuing a master's in public health at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown. She is a health educator with Youngstown Community Health Center and a part-time YSU faculty member. Mr. Bishop, a laborer with Pallante Concrete Construction in Boardman, is a member of Laborers International Union of North America, Local 935, Warren.
The bride's off-the-shoulder gown of white satin and tulle was styled with a fitted bodice trimmed with beaded Venise lace.
Honor attendants were Annie O'Neil and Melissa Bishop. Bridesmaids were Jenelle Bishop, Abbie DelGratta, Sara Demko, Barbie Granger, Kristin Maizel, Tracie McCaughtry, Lesia Myers and Katy Collins. They wore coral dresses. Flower girl was Rachel Collins.
Best men were Josh Bishop and R.J. Bishop. Groomsmen were Jamie Boyle, Kevin Boyle, Rick DiNunzio, Jason Evans, Brian Gallo, Joe McItrot, Greg Squibbs and Patrick Collins. Ring bearers were Mickey Collins and Evan Collins.
