XYOUNGSTOWN -- Drs. Cynthia Ann Hancock of Cuyahoga Falls and James Francis Kravec of Stow were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 23 at St. Christine Church. Officiating were Bishop Thomas Tobin, the Revs. John-Michael Lavelle and Thomas Rath and Deacon Daniel Hancock, the bride's father.
The bride also is a daughter of Antoinette Hancock. She and her husband live in Amherst. The groom is a son of James and Elizabeth Kravec of Austintown.
A reception was held at Mr. Anthony's. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and live in Stow.
The bride graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in integrated life science, and the groom earned his bachelor's in combined science at Youngstown State University. They received medical degrees from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and are internal medicine residents at Akron City Hospital Summa Health System.
The bride's candlelight gown featured a corset-style back.
Honor attendant was Sandra Frydryk. Bridesmaids were Kelly Hancock, Yvonne Kelly, Michelle Kelly, Mary Forkapa, and Drs. Jennifer Killion, Maggie McDaniel, Rebecca Russell, Jean Blair and Diana Hayslip. They wore cornflower-blue dresses. Flower girl was Amanda Hancock.
Dr. Thomas Macabobby was best man. Groomsmen were Eric Hancock, Brian Charles, Timothy Hancock, Vincent Carnevale, John Frydryk, and Drs. Gabriel Lazarcik, Mark Rea, Arthur Smith and Justin Mikula. Ring bearer was Eric Hancock.
