Grove City 3, Mount Union 1 -- Jessica Smith, a Grove City native, led the Lady Wolverines (2-3-1) with a goal and an assist.
MEN'S SOCCER
Thiel 4, Pitt-Bradford 1 -- Freshman Steven Haylett, a Greenville graduate, scored a goal for the Tomcats (1-7-1).
Grove City 2, Bethany 1 -- Freshman Bob McNees, a Blackhawk graduate, scored both goals for the Wolverines (3-0). Nathaniel Jones had two assists.
CROSS COUNTRY
The Grove City College women finished sixth at the 15-team Allegheny Invitational. Sophomore Elisa Pedersen placed third in the distance run in 23 minutes, 32 seconds. Allegheny won with 28 points and the Lady Wolverines had 155.
Steve Brown (22:37) finished 11th as Grove City College placed fourth in the men's division of the Allegheny cross country meet. Case Western Reserve and Allegheny tied for first place each with 44 points.
