Summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown.
CANFIELD
Sept. 12
Theft: A Macintosh laptop computer was stolen from the 100 block of Cardinal Drive.
Sept. 15
Criminal damage: A BB gun pellet hole was found in a glass window at a residence in the 200 block of Fairground Boulevard.
Sept. 17
Theft: Police arrested a 16-year-old Berlin Center youth and charged him with stealing a pack of cigarettes from Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.
Sept. 18
Theft: A 1993 engine block from a two-door Ford truck was stolen from the 500 block of West Main Street, along with a Ford Mustang 5-speed transmission, another Ford vehicle engine block, an engine leveler and a trailer spare tire.
Sept. 20
Drug abuse/drug paraphernalia: Police arrested a 17-year-old Boardman girl on East Main Street for obtaining and possessing drug paraphernalia. Police found on the teenager a purple pouch, a cigarette box and cigar paper, all of which contained suspected marijuana. She was charged with being a delinquent child by way of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia in Mahoning County Juvenile Court.

Sept. 15
Criminal damage: A window was broken in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Burglary: Coins were reported stolen in the 200 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Theft: A dog was taken from the 1000 block of County Line Road.
Sept. 16
Vehicle theft: A 1997 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer stolen from B & amp;R Wholesale Tire, 116 S. Meridian Road.
Theft: A woman in the 3000 block of Canfield Road reported her wallet was taken from the 300 block of Canfield Road.
Sept. 17
Criminal trespass: A male suspect was accused of trespassing at Compass West apartments.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was broken in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.
Auto theft: A 1985 Volkswagen was stolen from BFI, 3870 Henricks Road.
Auto theft: A 1994 Acura four-door sedan was stolen from the 90 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Property damage: A chain-link fence was bent in the 60 block of North Anderson Avenue.
Van theft: A 1998 Chevrolet Astro van was stolen from the Wedgewood Plaza, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.
Vehicle theft: A 2002 Yamaha Warrior all-terrain vehicle was stolen from the 300 block of Robert Frost Drive.
Sept. 18
Theft: A CD player was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1300 block of Northfield Drive.
Theft: Miscellaneous items were stolen from the 200 block of DeHoff Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Tools were stolen after a forced entry into an unattached garage in the 1000 block of Mulberry Run.
Theft: Five CDs were stolen from a vehicle in the residential 90 block of South Kimberly Avenue.
Sept. 19
Attempted theft: A vehicle was placed on a block and the wheels taken off in the 4000 block of Pembrook Place.
Theft: A purse was stolen from a woman at Antonio's, 1601 S. Raccoon Road.
Sept. 20
Theft: A purse was taken from the 3000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Arrests: Police arrested one man for driving under the influence and another man for drug abuse and criminal damage. They were stopped in the 4000 block of Central Avenue.
Criminal damage: Damage to a screen door was reported in the 600 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: A CD player was stolen from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A wallet with credit cards and cash were stolen from Casual Carpets, 4930 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged in the 100 block of North Kimberly Avenue.
Theft: A juvenile is a suspect in items stolen from an auto parked in the 100 block of Rosemont Avenue.
Burglary: Money was taken from a residence in the 3000 block of Cannon Road.
