Informational meeting ondowntown tax incentives
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown Arts and Entertainment District Association will hold a free informational presentation about tax incentives for downtown Wednesday at the Ohio One Building. The program begins at 6 p.m., with a welcoming session at 5:30 p.m.
Jim Rosa, principal with Hill, Barth and King, will lead the program. New tax incentives became available last year when Youngstown was named a renewal community by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Other incentive programs in the city also will be explained.
Real estate investingis subject of course
MINERAL RIDGE -- Bob Campana, a lecturer and real estate investor, will present a free two-hour course on real estate investing at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at Theodore's Banquet Center, 1400 N. Fidelity eliminates feeson all mutual fund lines
BOSTON -- Fidelity Investments' entire retail mutual fund product line will be sold on a "no load" basis after the company eliminates the 3-percent front-end sales charges on all 42 of its remaining funds that carried the fees.
The changes are to take effect today.
Fidelity had already eliminated the charges on its Contrafund and other equity funds, but said Friday it would not longer charge the fees on its "Select Portfolios," 42 sector-specific funds that manage $18.3 billion in assets.

Airline trading suspended
ZURICH, Switzerland -- Trading in shares of Switzerland's struggling national airline was suspended today amid mounting speculation that the company will announce a lifesaving deal with another carrier.
Swiss International Air Lines -- known as Swiss -- said it had requested a suspension in trading on the Zurich exchange until 8 a.m. EDT Tuesday. At the close of trading Friday, Swiss stock stood at 16.85 francs, or $12.32.
